Do you desire to be a change agent for children?
Check out CDF’s 5th Annual Young Advocate Leadership Training (YALTSM) Program

Each year, the YALT program attracts more than one hundred young adults who participate in a three-day long training program where they connect with other young advocates, community organizers and child advocates to learn new advocacy skills, models and strategies that can be implemented in communities back home and on college campuses to help children and strengthen families. YALT program participants are exposed to dynamic workshops and plenary sessions, facilitated action plan development, and targeted training sessions. This year’s training will be held on March 20--22, 2009, at the CDF Haley Farm in Clinton, Tennessee (near Knoxville). CDF will cover the costs of travel, meals and lodging for all selected participants. To apply, complete the application at www.childrensdefense.org/yalt

We have made history this year with an unprecedented election, and it is up to us as young advocates to continue this momentum and change the future for children who need it most. As young leaders and child advocates, we need to step forward and collectively organize for change.
