I live in the Sunshine State, good ol’ Southern California. The weather is always supposed to be perfect; nice, sunny, and warm. Theoretically, I might need a light jacket for those cool winter nights. This is not the case however!!
I was at the San Diego Wild Animal Park freezing my butt off yesterday, I mean seriously. I could barely feel my toes. I was wearing a long-sleeved shirt, jacket, and then ski coat, with a scarf, mittens, and boots. Let me remind you, this is supposed to be sunny Southern California.
By time the night was over my fingers were tingling, my toes were frozen, and my cheeks were as red as beets. I got to my car and thought to myself, “Oh, my God, it must have been like 40 degrees tonight.” (I know all you folks are probably going crazy right now. In all the northern states it’s probably like 5 degrees or less outside.) Just wait, the story gets better. I started the car and the thermometer said 52 degrees!! It was barely even cold outside and I felt like I was going to freeze to death. I couldn’t believe my eyes at how not cold it really was.
Here comes the funny part. I want to go to college in New Hampshire next year!! It’s going to be at least 50 degrees colder there than it was by me last night. I don’t know how I am going to survive the winter! I think the trick is to be in the right mindset (hopefully). It will be interesting to see how I hold up over the winter next year.

And we're supposed to be having Global Warming. :P
But yeah, in Boston, I think it was like...-15 or something with the wind chill earlier. My grandmother lives in that area, so that's why I mentioned it. It was actually decently warm in KY today. :)

I'm back home and in cold but there is enough warmth here to last me a lifetime or two
Is Muslim another subset or part of being Black ? I want to go home where they don't look at me as if I am an alien from outer space...come to destroy, to torture their planet.
It was over 60 here in Colorado two days ago. Now we have snow on the ground.
It's not global warming, it's a global climate change. Glaciers are melting in some places, and it's getting so much colder other places.

I got it after I heard Thomas Friedman on MSNBC or CNN and he was explaining it all, of course my dad always take everything to the religion and the whole greater scheme of things and then I keep quiet.

and it has been freezing, especially at night. My brother in Colorado has no sympathy. Only thing is I don't have air conditioning or heat, or insulation. Our home serves to soak up the outside temp to the point where it is often colder inside than outside. In summer it's almost unbearable.

I live in Norther CA, but I just returned from 2 weeks in Belize (which is east of Guatemala, South of Mexico). It was so hot there, but now I can't seem to warm up here! Everyone I've talked to says it's been about average here, somewhere around freezing, but I can't believe how cold I am!
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.
We have had a bitter winter in Wyoming so far with lots of sub-zero days and even colder nights.
This morning when I woke up it was 48 degrees which is by far the warmest day we have had in the last 5 weeks and only about the third time it has broken above freezing.
Bring on the global warming! The sooner the better!
