Acceptance
Big news came to me today. You won't believe it. Harvard offered me a 4-year, full tuition scholarship!
Just kidding. I can't even afford the application fee, let alone the actual tuition.
But there is good news. I didn't lie about that. I got a letter of acceptance from Shippensburg University today, so now I definitely know I can attend there. They said they'd send my transcript to the scholarship committee to see if I qualify for some merit-based scholarships. I really hope so!
I have a three-day weekend coming up so hopefully I can finalize my application to West Chester University, and maybe even start St. Francis'. I'm visiting St. Joe's on October 1st; maybe I'll add them to the list? I know I'm eligible for 20 grand so that's a plus.
I've been thinking about maybe studying music in college. I pre-decided that I want to go into journalism and write for a magazine or newspaper, but I think I excel at music, or at least the actual education part of it. It's weird because my friend, Jackie, wants to go into music education. She's president of the Chorus at my school, and in the play, so she pretty much lives music. She thinks I should just minor in music. I think she's worried I'll take her spot in the music world : D Just kidding, of course.
That's it for now. I'm sick so I need to go and rest myself. Hope everyone has a good day!
