Spider Man: The Other: Evolve or Die: Evolution

So dear friends (I hope you can consider me a friend, Acquaintance if needed) So I found a new love of Comic Books… yes comic books those nerdy things that have a loyal following much like Star Trek… Well I do read them they are now part of my collection along with Shakespeare (Hamlet is one Boss crazy!), Stephen King, and Chuck Palahniuk.

So far my absolute favorite is one in a Spiderman Collection, called Evolution. Evolution is the story of Spiderman’s death, yes he totally dies for a little while. As you can probably tell he comes back from death. Now the only reason I mention this is the amazing ability to find the sublime in anything.

First of all I want to say that Comics are actually very interesting art, many have a deeper meaning than just having a Super Hero that saves people.

Take Evolution as a prime example.

WARNING SPOILER FOR SPIDER MAN TURN AWAY IF YOU DON’T TO GET IT SPOILED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So this episode/edition came right before the civil war. Peter Parker is noticing that he is not acting himself, he can’t control himself, he faints often, and his powers fade out randomly. So then a villian Morlun comes in and is stalking Spider-Man. Morlun Beats the hell out of spiderman putting him in a coma. So Spiderman is in a coma and Morlun Comes for round two… Well Spider man goes ape (or should I say crazy ass spider) and kills Morlun then kills he dies

Now When spider man dies he goes to this dream thing, I don’t know its weird
Anyway he learns that he has to come one with the “spider” inside him.

At first it sounds corny but you should see the way it was presented… He has to cope with this animalistic being inside him, the Spider has a lot of significant meanings through many religions and We know it as a gross ruthless hunter, which is all but spiderman.

In short I think everyone should look at everything without contempt
This comic was so EPIC! I loved it, sublime and all. I would suggest it to anyone and such
