My Favorite Principle: Personal Freedom

This is what I imagine when one would reach the apex of personal freedom (I also consider this the ultimate form of a micro utopia)

The land is completely dark filled with tiny peek holes of illuminating light. You have the choice to decide rather you want to break through the earth drawn wall into the light, or to remain in the obscurity with tiny leak holes of lights unfolding the corners of the room shadowing and exposing your very own limitations within the cell’s area. You will have a choice of something beyond or something within. Time has ceased to exist and to you it really doesn’t matter what decision you make as long as you have a decision. You take your time and it doesn’t matter whichever path and place you would like to be. The idea of being is enough. You decide neither. This is where other ideas and dreams vanish. They crumble up deep into the muddy surface of the floor, and you rise up into an unrecognizable being that has softly blended into the universe in a fine homogenous shake. You don’t know where you end or begin, and what the difference is between yourself and everything else. You are not happy, sad, angry, alive, or dead. You are just. You are whatever being. You are is.

Personal Freedom to me is the most important progressive principle because it is the pathway that leads you everywhere including nowhere to the ultimate place of is, are, there, more, or whatever.

I believe personal freedom is something that we are born with that cannot be taken away, but is something that we often forget and self deny. It is important to be reminded that we have the ability to love, hate, and think freely. If we lose (as in forget) this personal freedom then we are doomed to wonder blindly in a vast dangerous land in hardship. We are the ones that decide our boundaries and encage our thoughts.

It is the act of remembering our personal freedom is what makes us free.
