As some of you may know, I'm home schooled. Over the past year, my family's been through a lot (including two moves), so rather than fail most of my subjects, I decided to spend more time working on them and finishing them. I finished junior year a few weeks ago (could have been a month or two ago, if it wasn't for all that Algebra II...), and finally got my senior year stuff yesterday!
Since I'm taking the SAT on Saturday, I decided to hold off and will begin senior year on Monday. I'm so excited, though...getting the books is my second favorite part of the school year (most favorite naturally being finishing the school year). I took a lot of courses during my freshman, sophomore and junior years, so this year I only have 4 credits. I only had to take three, but I decided to do two elective half-credit courses (yes, I'm a nerd...).
Thus, this year, I'll be taking English 12 (which is on English literature), Religion 12 (apologetics), American Government, Logic (introduction to formal traditional logic...half credit), and Economics (half credit). Beginning in January, I might also take a course through HSLDA (home school legal defense association) on American Government. We'll see, cause it'll depend on if my parents can afford it.
My goal is to be done by May 1, so we'll see how that goes. I'm a half a year behind (although, I suppose if you take it from the school system, I'm a half a year ahead, because I'm graduating a year early), so this'll be interesting. It'll basically be like college, because I'll be taking six courses in one semester, and this is four, so it'll be good.
Anyway, so this was exciting for me, and I thought I'd share. My sister thinks I'm a total nerd for getting so excited over a bunch of books, but I'm ignoring her, cause I'm psyched!

Thanks! I definitely hope so! : ) I've been itching to start, but I'm forcing myself to wait until Monday, since I'm taking the SAT tomorrow.

Congratulations! It feels really good to be almost done with the required portion of school.
Living is easy with eyes closed, misunderstanding all you see.
It definitely does! I can't believe I'll be graduating in 5 months!!! It seems like just yesterday I was a dorky freshman : P
