A Wal-Mart Worker was trampled to Death on Black Friday!

The day after Thanksgiving, Black Friday, is the biggest shopping day of the year. This is the day that stores open their doors during the wee hours of the morning- as early as 4 AM!! According to an AOL money and finance report, a Wal-Mart worker in New York was trampled to death during this annual, chaotic, shopping madness!!

It is unfortunate and unbearable to hear that in this day and age human beings would actually trample people to death just to save money on gifts for the holiday season. This innocent man was just trying to do his job and put food on the table and a roof over his family’s head. He did not deserve to die. No sale whatsoever is worth getting killed over.

Black Friday shoppers knocked this poor unfortunate man to the ground when he opened the door to allow customers to start their holiday shopping. Other workers were trampled when they tried to rescue their fallen coworker as well. Shoppers became irate when officials told them the store would be closing and they would have to leave due to the death. Some customers were yelling that they had been there since Thursday morning and kept shopping.

I was so disgusted when I read this article. Even in today’s society people are killing each to get the best bargain. People need to take a step back and get their morals and values straight. There is absolutely no reason for a person to get killed trying to open the doors of a store.

Here is the link to the article I read if you are interested…

Wow you have written a good Blog even though there is a similar blog on this exact topic still on the recent list. You took a different approach to it and that is refreshing. You totally stole my thunder. I normally would be upset by this, but you took a different approach even though the outrage is still the same. I would ask that in the future you be a little more courtesy and at least wait until the other blog falls off the recent blog list before you post yours. Also be careful many people may accuse you of beating a dead horse.
