Dreams 2.0

Last night I had a dream, this morning I had a vision. Today I turned that vision into an idea and spent the day trying to make that idea reality. Not every dream makes it to the morning, not every vision translates into an idea and not every idea gets acted on, but I still pursue these each passing day, hoping that one day my idea will make a difference!

We all dream, but how many of us take the time to reflect on our dreams? Whether it be a dream for involving us or a dream involving a particular situation. How often do you take your dreams seriously and give them a second thought? How often do you vocalize your dreams like you did when you were a child? The stage in your life when the opinions of others were simply that, the opinion of others. When you were oblivious to the ridicule you may potentially receive. You simply dreamt it and it was possible. When was the last time you turned your dreams into visions, seeing a future that could potentially be reality. Taking the abstract and imagining its fulfillment.

When was the last time you saw the future in a clear, attainable pattern? Where your progress towards a goal is clearly mapped out in your head and you are sure it is attainable. When did you last smile at the potential of you ideas, and the impact they would make in the world. Your vision, in conjuctionewith time would produce a future you look forward to, one step at a time.

How often do you work to turn your vision into day to day activities that help you get to you ultimate goal? How many times do you wake up and get excited about the future you are creating day by day, working towards what you previously envisioned? Knowing full well that each day is a contribution to that greater goal that initially began as a dream. A dream to make a difference. An opportunity to say that the world is a better place because of your own unique contribution.

As we all know not all dreams are remembered, let alone reach the idea stage where they may be acted on. Not every vision of the future is followed through with either. But does that mean we must stop dreaming? I say no! Do we stop visualizing a better world and attempting to act on it? I emphatically say no! Out of all all the dreams that one may have, lie many ideas that if acted on, will make the world a better place. We must let our creativity flow, and visualize a better future, even if we are not sure. For this is how great ideas are born. Our imagination takes us where others have not been and the potential of the human mind is boundless!

As long as you can push past the limitations and false barriers formed by "experience" and the "opinion" of others.

Dare to dream, dare to try, you only win the lottery if you buy a ticket!

You forgot to tell us what your dream was!

Yes that was intentional, the post is meant to encourage you to act on your personal dreams, rather than me telling people what I'm trying to do. So insert yourself in that role, and dare to dream!

but part of getting others to dream is living by example. Also, if you share your dream and gain intellectual support of others, it does provide an advantage in attaining your dream.

was this an actual dream?

I never dream my actual dreams when i sleep. : )

It is the right time of the year to put together a goal list..

the dream can be anything you may want to achieve or wish for, doesn't have to be in your sleep
