America gets the Government it deserves
The spoiled idealistic youth that elected this government are sure to suffer the consequences of their decision. These young Americans idiots came out in the masses during this election and now they have led our country like lambs to the slaughter. A recent documentary on the recent election day polling proved most of the democratic voters and 99% of the youth that voted did not know who the speaker of the house was and some did not even know that the democratic party has the majority in the house and in the senate. Get ready for Gas lines Ha Ha, the spoiled little brats just elected the government they deserve. Guess what as a Mom the first cuts I will make in my family budget will be my two college age students cell phones, internet, cable, gas and car insurance.
I hope parents who had these youthful little voters that supported Obama make sure that their little voter suffers the 1st cuts in this economy. Below is a lesson in economics any enthusiastic college student can understand.

Suppose that every day, ten men go out for beer and the bill for all ten comes to $100. If they paid their bill the way we pay our taxes, it would go something like this:
The first four men (the poorest) would pay nothing.
The fifth would pay $1.
The sixth would pay $3.
The seventh would pay $7.
The eighth would pay $12.
The ninth would pay $18.
The tenth man (the richest) would pay $59.
So, that's what they decided to do.
The ten men drank in the bar every day and seemed quite happy with the arrangement, until one day, the owner threw them a curve. "Since you are all such good customers," he said, "I'm going to reduce the cost of your daily beer by $20."
Drinks for the ten now cost just $80.
The group still wanted to pay their bill the way we pay our taxes, so the first four men were unaffected. They would still drink for free. But what about the other six men - the paying customers? How could they divide the $20 windfall so that everyone would get his 'fair share?'
They realized that $20 divided by six is $3.33. But, if they subtracted that from everybody's share, then the fifth man and the sixth man would each end up being paid to drink his beer. So, the bar owner suggested that it would be fair to reduce each man's bill by roughly the same amount, and he proceeded to work out the amounts each should pay.
And so:
The fifth man, like the first four, now paid nothing (100% savings).
The sixth now paid $2 instead of $3 (33%savings).
The seventh now pay $5 instead of $7 (28%savings).
The eighth now paid $9 instead of $12 ( 25% savings).
The ninth now paid $14 instead of $18 ( 22% savings).
The tenth now paid $49 instead of $59 (16% savings).
Each of the six was better off than before. And the first four continued to drink for free. But once outside the restaurant, the men began to compare their savings.
"I only got a dollar out of the $20," declared the sixth man. He pointed to t he tenth man, "But he got $10!"
"Yeah, that's right," exclaimed the fifth man. "I only saved a dollar, too. It's unfair that he got ten times more than I did!"
"That's true!!" shouted the seventh man. "Why should he get $10 back when I got only two? The wealthy get all the breaks!"
"Wait a minute," yelled the first four men in unison. "We didn't get anything at all. The system exploits the poor!"
The nine men surrounded the tenth and beat him up.
The next night the tenth man didn't show up for drinks, so the nine sat down and had beers without him. But wh en it came time to pay the bill, they discovered something important. They didn't have enough money between all of them for even half of the bill!
And that, boys and girls, journalists and college professors, is how our tax system works. The people who pay the highest taxes get the most benefit from a tax reduction. Tax them too much, attack them for being wealthy, and they just may not show up anymore. In fact, they might start drinking overseas where the atmosphere is somewhat friendlier.

The far left liberals are rewriting our history books at alarming rates and the youth today are blindly following their lead. My fear is before todays youth wises up it will be too late.

California is a real life example. I read a study recently (I wish I could find it) where a mere 140,000 people were carrying over half of California's tax burden.
California is hemorraging taxpayers. For the first time in its history, in the last decade California had a net outflow of native born Americans. California's population still grew because they took in more immigrants than they lost native born people. But statistically, native born Americans are much wealthier than immigrants and pay a lot more taxes. California's tax base is fleeing the high taxes. They are replacing rich tax payers with poor tax consumers.
I expect the trend of wealthy people fleeing California will accelerate because as the wealth of the base dwindles the rates keep getting raised to make up the shortfall. Essentially they are in a death spiral of rates rising causing tax payers to flee causing rates to be raised causing more taxpayers to flee. The last taxpayer to flee will be lucky to escape with his testicles. The California government will try to strip him of everything as he runs out the door. What will be left behind will be the third world and in fact the last time I was in Los Angelos, that is about what I saw.
And why would anybody stay? What drove the California economy was its educated workforce. When I went to college in California in the late 1970s, its public school system was the pride of the nation but now it is ranked something like 48th. Not only are educated people fleeing but they are taking their children with them and the kids who are left behind are getting a third world education so California is losing its current tax base and it is not educating a new tax base to replace them.
America is indeed getting the government we deserve. But it did not begin with the election of Obama. He has not even taken power yet and our economy is collapsing. We are seeing the end result of several decades of horrible government and most of the worst of it came not from the President (although Presidents get the blame) but from Congress. Something like 80% of Americans think America is on the wrong track. But why in the hell did these same idiots re-elect 95% of the incumbants in Washington?
I can not argue any of your points. I agree get rid of the incumbents. The problem in GA our incumbents where running against other career politicians. No new blood. I say since we can't vote out the old blood we because of the uneducated voters. We need term limits for all Government branches instead of jokers like Ted Kenndy having a life long career in Senate.
This is not the first time and i doubt that it will be the lat time the government screws up our economy. Our only hope is to get new blood into government. The only way proven to get out of a recession is by giving a wide tax break to all. I only hope that we can still fix it in 2 years when the congress gets reelected. As well as in 4 when we choice a new president.
I also agree that those that elected Obama are getting what they deserver. If I remember correctly 59 million said NO. If it teaches the other 69 million that they need to look closer before they vote then I can suffer though 4 years of a bad presidency.

Also let take an example. My brother works installing fireplaces. His boss 's company makes about a million a year before anything is taken out. After taxes he has about 500,000. After parts and labor he has around 200,000. Now I know that some of those liberals out there are says so we can tax him another 200,000 but normal how often do you have to replace or fix a fireplace not that often so he takes that 200,000 and invested into his company and tries to find new work for his 6 employees. Now with the new taxes that will come out he will lose about 150,000 that would make him only have around 50,000. So he may have to fire some of his employees or even fold and close his business now in the big picture the government does not need his taxes to stay afloat. If you look at say Wal Mart what would happen if they got taxed so much that they had to close down there doors. Very few people would shade a tear over the loss but the amount of taxes removed from the government would hurt a little. Also that large amount of people that would become unemployed would put a heavy burden on the economy. So let us see what would happen if say companies were to send those high paying job overseas. Then what? Those people that normally made the six figured salaries are gone. Their tax money is gone to what will the Government do then.
