Chaos all over San Francisco..."Drug deals happening in front of the court house and men smoking marijuana in front of a police station...." What's happening?! :-O

Last November 19, 2008, as my father was watching Fox news, a newscaster reported the terrible sights/events he witnessed at San Francisco. He even concluded that San Francisco is much worse than New York City. He announced that at least in New York City the dangerous things are not as prevalent as the ones in San Francisco, California. He said that even in daylight one could not be safe* there because you could get hurt just by being at the wrong side of the street. *(The “safe” refers to those for the rest of us who like a (illegal) drugs-free America)

As for those who would like to be left alone for their freedom/right to do whatever they want, San Francisco might be the Garden of Eden/Heaven –just right for you. If the report is what they seem, San Fran, Cali. is the perfect place to do what most of us would consider illegal acts. When I heard of this news, I could NOT believe what I heard! :yikes:
I have relatives in California and some near in San Francisco so I was worried. If the law enforcement / police aren’t doing a thing to prohibit what really is going on…well, they are not doing what they are SUPPOSED to do.

These people should be locked up unless there is a law passing the legal or the public use of marijuana –which I doubt there is…

When you see an illegal act going on don't just stand there & ignore it. Do something!
Report it to the authorities. If nothing is done about it, everybody has the right to know. If someone got hurt, don't you want those responsible to pay the price if it happened to you?

Perhaps you should put up links of the articles that states the illegal drug deal in front of a court and weed being smoked in front of a police station.

i am guessing that the law enforcement has decided they would rather focus on homocides than busting people with marijiana.

I'd love to read the articles.

I used to love San Francisco. Along with Seattle, it is one of America's most beautiful and interesting cities. But last time I went there which was about a decade ago, I vowed I would never go back.

First, it is morally decadent. It is the symbol of almost everything I despise about the far left. I won't do them the favor of dropping any of my tourist dollars there ever again.

Secondly, that symbolic decadence has translated into real decadace. The place is a sewer! I was accosted by aggressive homeless people, prostitutes and drug dealers on every street corner and every block had homeless people who had literally homesteaded on the sidewalks.

This is what you get when you let liberals run things. Why we have allowed Nancy Pelosi to become the most powerful woman in America is beyond me.

What San Francisco needs is Rudy Guiliani.

I heard about this on the news on TV...

But, since you wanted to read about it...
So, I searched for it in the internet and I found the web-site for Fox News...
I only found a video and an "automatically generated transcript" (like captions for what was said) but it said: "may not be 100% accurate"
So, I tried playing the video but it said "unable to locate media. http://m1.2mdn.net/1836352/blank_ad.flv"

Thus, if you still want to see it for yourself just click this
Video in Fox News

By the way, the Fox News site stated that the title for the video was "America's future?"
