IN 1994, RWANDA WAS IN CIVIL WAR. NEARLY 1 MILLION PEOPLE DIED IN THIS ATTEMPTED GENOCIDE. TODAY, RWANDA IS BATTLING POVERTY, AND ITS CURRENT PRESIDENT WANTS ADVICE ON WANT TO DO ABOUT IT... (pls keep a look out for the next part...)

PART 2
Attracting tourism will help the economy, pull people out of poverty, help small business owners, and boost morale. Arts, entertainment, artists, concerts, musicians, and athletes often bring much attention to a country. Everywhere in the world lies undiscovered talent. We are sure Rwanda is no different, now is the time to make sure the rest of the world knows it too. As you well know, Rwanda is the most densely populated region in Africa, having over 10.1 million people. We must tap into our most precious natural resource. I am not talking about our robust coffee, delicate tea, handsome hides, or our resilient tin ore. I'm speaking of our beautiful people! RR will be responsible for going out into the communities and talent scouting. Musicians, dancers, poets, and more should all be scouted. The government can even capitalize on this by making it a competition. President Kagame, it is clear that you are a huge supporter of competitions because it brings the best out of people, and makes them push themselves harder than they know is capable. A competition or talent scouting extravaganza will help boost morale. Once the talent is found they will start to become a name in Rwanda, then efforts can be made to make them an industry name worldwide. First introducing our Rwandan talent to the whole of African, then possibly exploring franchising opportunities in the United States and the United Kingdom. The sky is the limit! Soon after, merchandising should be implemented to capitalize and raise more funds. The winners of the RR Talent Scout will perform at the ITB*, this will help promote their celebrity. This program can easily be tailored to whatever budget constraints that we find must be put in place. It would also behoove the program to enlist the help of worldwide entertainment philanthropist such as Paul Rusesabagina, Immaculée Ilibigiza, Angelina Jolie, Ingeli, Shawn Carter (Jay- Z), Cécile Kayirebwa, Michelle Obama, Christopher Bridges (Ludacris), Al Gore, Oprah Winfrey, Simon Bikindi, Danny Glover, and more.
RR should use some of the fundraised monies to build a museum. This museum can be small at first and slowly build itself up to formidable proportions. This museum should be about survivors of war, for now, let's call this the Museum of War Stories. Rwanda has its own history of this and could easily fill a whole museum with photos, articles, materials, films, interviews, books, etc dealing with stories from survivors of war, however this should be a global museum so that tourist all over the world will flock to Rwanda to see it. Much like how people go to the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, La Louvre in Paris, the Field Museum in Chicago, the Library of Congress, and the Smithsonian. This museums should incorporate items from survivors of the Korean Conflict, The American War, The Vietnam War, survivors of genocide in Rwanda and Sudan, and many more specific wars.
(WHAT COULD GET YOU TO VACA IN RWANDA? DO YOU THINK THIS IDEAS COULD PULL A COUNTRY OUT OF POVERTY? PLS LOOK OUT FOR THE NEXT PART...)

very interesting. i know that tourism could bring needed money to the country and possibly
pull them out of poverty. it is definitely worth a try.

but i heard that there is still mililtas out in the congo region causing conflict. do you think the near conflict will deterr tourism?
