Does much truly influence what decisions we make within our own friendships and relationships? Do you or we hear a gospel song in church during a regular service, at a funeral, at a concert, at a club, on the radio, in a video or just in general do songs like Jennifer Hudson's - Spotlight, Mint Condition's - Nothing Left to Say or Avant's - When it Hurts, helps us to decide what our next move will be? Music often relates to an experience in our lives or someone that we know. It jogs our memory about a time, a place or situation. Music seems to affect our moods, our attitudes and our behaviors in other ways.
Music has the influence that bad and good advice has for many people. People listen to the lyrics and decide how it could possibly apply to their situation or their lives. It is true that many times it applies in the worse and best of situations, but life is much more complex than lyrics of any song. I know that people seek comfort from music in times of sadness. However, we also find sorrow in the lyrics of many songs that remind of us of the loss we have felt.
Likewise, music has a powerful impact. It can help people change their lives and see something they never saw before. People assist those feeling hopeless and helpless, and provides a relief and escape, but also a renewal of what is to come. Music has life and perception. It can effect or affect much as the situations and circumstances of life.
The depth of life spans beyond what the mind can even imagine sometimes. With the current state of life, people may be facing both the worse and best. They will surely here it in the musical lyrics of so many songs that play today, yesterday and tomorrow. We seek to choose the ones that best apply to our situation and those that uplift or jog the best of memories. Tears do not always represent sorrow but sometimes-fond memories and great times.
Nevertheless, the influence of music has an everlasting impact that will live on forever.
