We, as the human race ,must abandon all forms of organized religion. We must leave it behind.
In ever single known society there is a religion that accompanies them.
What people do not realize is that religion and your spiritual leaders are located not above, but within, within your temporal lobe region. Religion is just a bundle of electrical neurotransmitters ligands, and opiate receptors. And somehow in this region of the brain it has determined the “divine” measurement of right and wrong. It has defined and justified atrocities of human greed throughout human history i.e. The Crusades, Inquisition, honor killings, claims of “divine right’ on so many thrones, and genocides.
Humans are collectively religious and because of that we justify our pride, greed, and hatred because it is colllective religion (because religion is human) that is the scale of right and wrong.
I am sure some people will be upset about this blog, and will claim that I am ignorant of the scripture and other various religions; I will not disagree with that. However; the mere act of accusation in itself creates an ideology that a system of organized religion has been internalized within your brain and has constructed a right and wrong measurement which you mislabel as divine when it is just merely nature, mundane.
The reader may also justify the atrocities committed by religious organizations with examples of greatness religion has also brought to society. However, has a society ever been absent of an organized religion?
So let’s try it. Abandon your synagogues, temples, mosques, and churches.
Just don’t treat this blog as the truth.
I like your approach, please know, most minds around are programmed in order to follow this, that or whatever religious believe system. In order to get this done, systems need them young!
Young in order to guide one away from its own divine truth and more important identity in order to box one up inside an invisible jail.

I don't necessary agree with it either, but the point i was trying to make was to look at religion at a different angle. That action in itself serves a much better purpose than organized religion.

Well you have the right to say what you want and I, like everyone else, don't know if there really is a god the way I look at it is: if there is a god then religion is right and if there isn't then what the big deal. I do feel that most religious people have better morals and behave better but it truely depends on the person.
To me it doesn't matter if there is a god or not. what matters is how we preceive god in terms of right and wrong, and how destructive organized religion is.
Take whatever 3th world country which has been converted into Christianity, all follow the rule’s which are being pushed upon them regarding the use of contraceptives, males use these rules as an excuse to get away in order to have unprotected sex.
I guess there is no need to explain the consequences this brings forward.
The reason why more over than 4 million females got massacred during inquisition, is related to one single reason only, intuition.
This is exactly why believe systems are nothing but structures build and created for one purpose only, (mind)control.
One cannot even start to imagine the amount and “ripple” of trauma that got send out because of this inquisition.

Religion is the basis for almost all societies around the world. Religion is the one universal thing that many have in common more so than race or nationality. Religion is a way to identify oneself. If we had no religion what is the purpose for living?
What purpose does religion give life? Religion can be absolutely anything.
exactly, what would be the purpose of living? religion has taken such a stronglehold on you that you would feel if organized religion vanished from the planet there would be no purpose to live. I suggest you find other identies and means to justify your living.
