Recently, I posted a blog on this site asking for help with my school’s Environmental Club. I appreciate everyone who has submitted ideas to me. You may be happy to know that we have finally decided on a major project for this season. Unfortunately, I still need a little more help.
My town’s Environmental Commission has recently announced that it intends to plant trees in front of the school. The Environmental Club is supposed to help in that endeavor. Of course, I have no problem helping. The problem lies in a simple task: My club was assigned the job of designing and implementing a “drip irrigation system.” Something which I do not know a thing about. If any of you do in fact know how “drip irrigation” works -or know anything at all about irrigation’ I would greatly appreciate it if you could forward it to me. Figures, we have to be the only Environmental Club on earth whose members do not posses among them a single green thumb. Of course, to make matters worse, of the thirty-something people who showed up to our first meeting only about four have bothered to show up to more recent ones. So, basically we have no manpower, no funds, and no idea what “drip irrigation” is!
