So, a lot of you guys ( or at least my former friends) are very upset with the outcome of the election. I'm sorry your canidate didn't win. I really do feel bad for you guys. But I have to admit I'm overly enthused that our new president is Barack Obama! I mean, I did spend hours and hours campaigning for him. Okay back to all of you who are upset about our new presidential elect; I do feel bad for you. I know thousands of you spent countless hours and days campagining for Mccain and Palin. And if I was in your situation... I would be JUST as upset.
This really doesn;t give you the excuse to bad mouth our new prez! He really did try hard to win this election and he deserves it just as much,if not more, than mccain. Yeah, whatever he doesn;t have a lot of experience. But we need change! We need a brand new outlook on things. Our country depends on it! Though this is why you say he is not fit to be president.. I really wonder if you're telling the truth.
I know a lot of rumors have been going around saying that Barack "threw out the american flag" or that he is "un-american" or the most ridiculous rumor of all the he is Muslim. Barack IS NOT MUSLIM! His dad was muslim, but he was raised by his Christan Grandparents. I mean he was even a member of that church with the horrible reverand! This brings me to another topic! The Reverand.. I will talk about him in a second because that is a whole other story. Back to Barrack's religon.. even if he was Muslim... WHY WOULD IT MAKE A DIFFERENCE?! Is it horrible for a little Muslim children to have hopes of being president? The first Americans came here for Religous freedom! And we want to take that away. Mccain/Palin wanted our country to be all about Christianity. Why? Why does it matter? Our country does not need a "set religon". We are all different people with different religons and different backgrounds. That is what makes america so unique!

said when he found out that John Fitzgerald Kennedy had won over Richard Nixon. "I didn't vote for him, but he's my president." No matter who is president, Republican or Democrat, is our leader. We should hope the man does a good job. This does not mean that questioning the man's actions is unpatriotic. I fully expect president Obama to make many mistakes. Just as the other 44 men to have the job he just was hired for had their fair share of mistakes. But simply attacking the man for having a different view from one's own is not fair, and is exactly what we need to overcome in this country.
