The DRIVE!

Starting earlier this week, on November 5th, and going through November 26th, The LEAGUE is sponsoring another event. This time, they want students (K-12) to identify the need, and then create and implement a plan to address issues related to poverty, hunger and homelessness in their community.

This can take a variety of forms, including doing food and clothing drives, or other items that may be more needed in your community. We hope that all you high school students use this event to give a little back to your community, and help to end poverty, hunger, and homelessness in your communities.

Aren't in high school or below? That's ok too! This time around, The LEAGUE is acknowledging those who sign up as coaches or partner with a school to help those who are in grades K-12 to get involved with this event. For example, a coach may reach out on behalf of a school class to a food bank or soup kitchen for The DRIVE and find out in advance what kind of items are most needed as donations.

Ready to get involved, or just want a little more information? Check out The LEAGUE's website for more. And don't forget to let us know if you participated or not!
