Since Tuesday, I have been recieving Racist jokes (and yes, I laughed at them loudly), pictures, and hearing people say the world as we know it is over.
"Tomorrow morning all white people are to report to the cotton fields for orientation. Your's Truly, Obama."

"Next week the statue of liberty is coming down and being replaced with Aunt Jemima."

"Goodbye America- "Any society thatWhe would give up a little liberty to gain a little security will deserve neither and lose both," Benjamin Franklin"

Seems to me everyone cares WAY more than they usually do.

(:Now that's funny, I don't care who you are:)

I think I've figured this out. Whether you like him or not, the reason Obama was able to get his extra votes that pulled him through is because he's a CELEBRITY, McCain is only a POLITICIAN. Obama is like Britney Spears, some people hate him, some people love him. Everyone has the strongest opinion. People love to hate him. Nobody likes politicians. Obama was somethin' special to the people so, whether or not his ideals fall into place with the current government, doesn't really matter. The fact is, he is more personable.

I mean, seriously, can anyone recall another election when people were so utter appalled or extatic about a new president as this one? (Oh wait- Kennedy...not the point)

Either way, it doesn't MATTER who wins or looses. Shit is going to happen inside politics that we cannot control. It doesn't matter who we vote in. Both candidates had very complex and complicated ideas and it's probably going to take longer than for years for any of their major campaign promises to come true. GET OVER IT!

Yes, that is all, thank you for asking.

Peace and Love,
Dani

P.S. I'm an Obama supporter, so if you're going to yell at me, don't use that against me. :D

Those were funny jokes!! well, yes i think that to many people Obama is a celebrity. Obama wasn't just a politician, but something that represented beyond the definition of a politician. he represented and embodied that american dream and equal opportunity for so many.

I wasn't for Obama but I am open minded so I will give anyone a chance. I also agree he is a celeb. My name is also Dani too. :)
