MCCAIN/PALIN 2008! I voted for McCain...that's right! Shoot me! LOL! I'm not a huge McCain fan but he's A LOT better than Obama. I don't like Obama for many reasons including his stance on the war (wanting to pull out troops out before our job there is finished), his wanting to nationalize healthcare (um...no!), his wanting to take my money and give it to other people who are plenty capable of getting a job, and lots more. Plus he just DOES NOT have the experience.
So my Facebook status is "Katelyn is shouting MCCAIN/PALIN 2008!" and this guy wanted to debate me on Facebook chat of all places. Okay, I love to debate but it's kinda hard to on Facebook chat. It's hard to online! I'd much rather debate you in person. Plus it doesn't quite work when you're about to fall asleep on your keyboard due to the stupid fire alarm going off that 3 in the morning the night before. Oh well! It was still a good discusion even though he wouldn't have changed my mind and I wouldn't have changed his mind! LOL!
I have been scared to death about the election today for months but I'm giving it up to the Lord. He already know who the next President of the United States is and has a reason for it. We won't know the reason right away and may never knwo the reason but He has a reason. He is still in control no matter who the next Presidents is!

The entire point of a democracy is that it is in PEOPLE'S hands. Self-determination, free will and all of that. Theocracies are theoretically in God's hands, a democracy is in yours.
