how many socialist actions is Obama aloud to make before he can be called a true socialist? does the mind of a socialist not make a person a socialist?
Senator Obama does not consider himself to be a socialist yet he sure acts like one. He wants to create a nation where we have a classless society and a redistribution of income to create equality. this action can not get anymore socialist. Obama also plans to confiscate privately controlled land as part of a new development plan. he plans to create government farming as a way to teach modern farming techniques, even though what we have been doing has benefited us thus far. if you look at Stalin's life and his rule and Russia you will see various similarities between him and Obama. both of them started in high school by seeking out Marxist professors and knowledge. Stalin was also a leader who the people looked up to, unfortunately his socialist reform over powered the capitalist economy and left millions unemployed and resulted in a great economic crisis. Obama claims that he is not Socialist but if a bear claims that he not a bear does that mean that he is not?

Obama doesn't think that industries should be nationalized, nor does he think they should be taken over by workers. He wants to regulate free market, not eliminate it. He wants to mitigate the effects of the market when people lose. He wants capitalism with a human face.
Obama is not going to set up a government agency to plan the economy. He's not going to require businesses to meet targets for production. He's not going to outlaw profit. He's not going to put workers in charge of companies unless that is what unions and management agree on in those companies.
Obama is a moderately liberal, centrist Democrat.
Throwing the term "socialist" around to describe Obama is just as ignorant as using the word "fascist" to describe a conservative. All it proves is that a person clearly doesn't understand what socialism actually is. Democratic party liberalism is not equivalent to socialism.
