Why I voted for a Republican

Good morning, everybody!!!

It is truly a great day for America. Please get out and vote, but please remember the following:

1) The integrity of Diebold voting machines has been called into question ("Hacking Democracy") It was found that an .exe code existed within the memory chip of those machines. A test vote was run on those same machines. 6 "no" votes and 2 "yes" votes were entered...the machine tallied the votes as 7 "yes" and 1 "no" Therefore, if your voting machine are manufactured by Diebold, record your vote by celphone camera and post it in the web. Attempt to conduct separate tally with friends.

2) Do not feel the need to stick to the party line. That is Tammany Hall politics, and it accomplishes nothing. Hopefully, we have all researched our candidates and their plans. Vote for the best person for the job.

Now to business;

I am a green party liberal, which means that I am tolerant of others' opinions...especially when those opinions disagree with my own. I do not tolerate racism, sexism, or militant nationalism, all of which lead to socialism.
But this year, I voted for the Republican runner for state representative...and I'll tell you why. Last Wednesday I received a personal visit from said hopeful. After the how d'ya do's were over, I asked the gentleman 4 very direct questions:

What do you hope to accomplish?
How do you plan to do it?
Who is on your side in Harrisburg?
What's your plan B?

The gentleman answered every one of my queries without hesitation. He did not think fast or fumble about with responses. He left a lasting impression on me.
I then attempted to contact his opponent to ask the same 4 questions. I sent him an email, to which I received no response, not even from an aide. I was finally able to pose those queries to one of his associates at the polls this AM, but her answers were incomplete and, in my opinion, unsatisfactory.

Because of this, I voted for Nick Miccarelli this year...the Republican candidate...and I am proud to say so.

My best regards
