"Did you hear? it was the strangest thing I have ever heard in my life!" exclaimed Wilma.
"I know, I cannot believe that her husband aloud her to do such a thing" agreed Becky.
The two women sat together gossiping in the downtown salon where they always meet to get their hair done.
"And to think, no one even suspected it was her until she finally confessed" said Wilma, leafing through a magazine.
"Yes and she never would have confessed if that tape hadn't mysteriously surfaced" added Becky.
“Did the police ever actually release that video to the press?” asked Wilma.
“No, she confessed before they had a chance. That tape must have held some pretty incriminating evidence.”
“I feel so bad foe her husband and kids how she could drag them into the whole ordeal is above me.”
“Oh, if you feel bad for them just imagine how the parents of the poor boy feel, I could never recover after news like that.” Becky stood and reached for another magazine, looked at it, then grabbed another. “Did you know I knew that woman almost the whole 20 years that I lived in this town. I remember her welcoming me on the first day I moved in, she was so nice and she even brought me a casserole. I never would have imagined that she would ever be capable of committing such a crime.” Becky recalled, “well I am just glad she was caught before she could do it again. But I wonder where that tape came from, someone must have known what she was up to and knew exactly how to catch her”
“Yes...” said Wilma smiling slyly as she turned the page of her magazine.
The Crime Committed

It's a unique blog, I'll give you that. For one, expressing something in this story format makes it a more "fresh" style than most blogs around.
Having said that, it feels to me that it's missing something. What's the crime? Where does progress come into it all? I'm wondering if this should have been posted in the Creative Writing section of ProgU instead of as a blog post, but that's just me.
