This election has been absolutely filthy!!!
Im only 17 and I believe that there has been to much bashing going on instead of straight up real talk politics!
Our country is in an economic crisis of course,and our moral are at an all time slump.
So I present to you a plan that could actually work..
In regards to gay marriage, i believe that love is love and that government should have no say so in peoples personal affairs,this is a democratic nation not a communist nation.So love who you want to love,but we are one nation under God and the defintion of marriage is made clear,it is a legal contract between a MAN and A Woman,so therfore if a gay couple should enter into a legal contract it could not be called marriage for the definition does not permit it, so we would have to make up a new word for that particular union without calling it marriage.
In regards to abortion I understand special circumstances where it is not the "mothers" choice to be pregnant,but then again it is never a childs choice to be concieved,and at the moment of conception i believe it should be the childs choice as to whether or not it wants to live or die.
On the illegal immigration issue, I do not think strengthining the boarders should be our main priority I believe that we should do away with the dont ask dont tell policy and start buckeling down on our immigration laws.We need to card people.I understand that some of these people are just trying to provide for their families but there are ways of going about that in a legal manner.Our top priority in this area should be deporting the illegal immigrants who commit felonies such as violent crimes...we should send them to their homecountry peacefully and if they should return we can take further action into our own hands...thanks for listening im open minded so say what you want,but please dont be disrespectful =)**

Only about 15% of the population wants abortion outlawed, so this would be better described as A Plan That Could Never Work.

You seem confused. The Bible is a Christian relic, not the law of the land. If straight couples can form government-sanctioned unions have the government call them "marriage," gay couples should have the same right.
