OH MY GOSH......i'm so close to quitting school. no, i'm lying. i'm suppose to be preparing for college and getting scholarship stuff done. i'm not even doing well in HIGH SCHOOL, so why am i being bombarded with taking college classes in my senior year? i can do whateva i want. i can graduate with a 4.0, i can graduate with honors, i can get into harvard if i want. but i don't know where to start. nobody wants to help me so i guess i'll have to do it alone. my mom pretends to help me by saying "go to this website, look for this, read about this". she doesn't REALLY help me with this kinda stuff. i'm so tired. i need a day or two off from this college madness. what ever happened to taking HIGH SCHOOL classes in high school. why is everyone trying to take college courses in high school? i want it back to how it use to be. i'll handle college when i'm mentally prepared for it and right now is NOT the time! who's gonna even care what grades and classes i took in high school and college when i graduate from both? i'll just be pushed into the real world to get a job, a place to live, and a car to get around. no boss is gonna ask what your grades were like 5 years back!

I was just like you, well maybe not just like you, but going through a lot of the same stuff a year ago. There were times whenI was so overwhelmed that I thought the only thing I could do was quit, and sometimes, that still happens, but you WILL get through it and be better off for it. I took a few college classes in high school, and trust me it is well worth it. It puts you ahead in your credits, so you can A) graduate early (saving you money) or B) take fewer credits per semester and graduate right on time (saving you stress).
As for help, do you have a guidance counselor at your school? Or maybe an older friend who went through the same things? Or an older sibling? Maybe even someone at the University(s) you are planning to go to?
This last year is crazy, but fun! Enjoy it, and good luck! You'll pull through!
