A man who falls to his knees is a man of disease. THINK DONT PRAY. I'm a part of a god free youth. The church is greedy and I want no part in crooked christian ways. Its funny how every religion has a "god" but each religion fights about who's is right. I think its funny how priests were touching little boys. I think its funny how they collect our money. I think its funny how how churches feist. I think its funny how Christians condemn those who chose another religion or none at all. I think its funny how churches are constructed to be very beautiful. I think its funny how church is only 2 hours long and we are left to sleep the rest of our day away. I think its funny how christian women are always trying to be just like Susie homemaker down the road. OH MY THE SEVEN DEADLY SINS!!!!!!

When I was a little kid I had an imaginary friend named Daisy. My parents told me it was NOT OK to talk to someone who wasn't actually there, and not to talk to someone no one else could see. Well I'm not going to look up at the sky and talk to an imaginary being. That would just be silly. There is no god, some say I lost faith, I say I got smart.

I don't pray when I want something to happen, I go out and make it happen. You don't need the Bible to justify love, but no
better tool has been invented to justify hate.

TELL ME IM WRONG? PROVE TO ME THERE IS A GOD!! You can't and that is so funny to me. Give me the bible and I'll give you the finger, I know more about whats in that book then most people.

PEACE AND LOVE

There are some theoriests that believe the stronger one's faith in a religion the more they lose love and compassion.i.e the inquestion( there was lots of love there)

You are free to think and feel how you desire. To me that is the essence of spirituality.
so continue to think, don't ever stop.

You don't need the Bible to justify love, but no better tool has been invented to justify hate.

Ahaha, so true. It's a little alarming how such an old book that was written by imperfect, normal human like us is taken as infallible.

I'm Catholic and I'm going to defend my beliefs from a Catholic point of view.

The CHURCH isn't greedy. People IN the Church are greedy. And not everyone in the Church is greedy.
I agree, it's pretty ridiculous. But someone's gotta be right and if you note, the Catholic Church is the only church to claim they are the one, true Church. Pretty radical!
I think that's sick. Those priests were horrible examples of the priesthood. The priesthood is SUCH a beautiful thing and there are so many priests I'd trust me (or my brother if you're bent on homosexual priests) alone with til the end of eternity with the knowledge they wouldn't so much as touch me inappropriately. I think it's downright disgusting what those priests did to those boys and how they represented the Church.
Well, the Church provides public services and thus needs money to help fund itself. It's similar to the way we pay taxes. If you want the safety of a policeman, then you have to help with taxes. Cept the Church is nicer...the Church gives you a CHOICE in whether or not you make a donation.
I'm not really sure what you mean by churches feasting...
Well, I don't condemn anyone. That would be judging something far beyond what I am entitled to judge. However, if someone I love is doing something that I know is bad for them, I'm obliged to tell them.
I think it's beautiful. After all, the church is the home of God and thus must be made with reverence and beauty. Also, it gives the right setting for calming down, forgetting your troubles, and just talking to God.
My Church is only an hour long and I'm left to a good deal more than sleep. I read, cross stitch, go square dancing, bake pizza, and even do homework on Sundays...or I can just lay back and sleep.
I am NOT Susie Homemaker. I wear skirts and stuff to Mass, but you're crazy if you don't see me in jeans outside of Mass.

That's really bizarre about your parents. Everyone has imaginary friends when they're little *shrug*.

Well, there are some things you can go out and do yourself, but there are others that you have absolutely no control over. At those times, you have to make for the best and maybe ask God to help you.

Hope this helps a little.

I contend we are both atheists, I just believe if one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours.

I think it's funny how you rant and rave about religion, but only point out problems with Christianity.
