I got talking with a frind of mine today whio just broke up with her boy friend. They were so much in love that you would never have imagine a break-up for them. I really do not know if i am right but i found myself supporting her action. She said the guy does not like her friends and would do anything to prevent her from seeing or hanging out with her friends. I understand he is in love but preventing her from socialising is what i cant imagine.
Among all of us, she has a favourite whom she likes being with, talking to especially intimate things so we call them magnets cos they are always seen together. Of recent, the boyfriend told her to spend more time with him than with the girl so she agreed, the girl friend who also happen to be our friend complained but we felt she was just being silly," leave the love birds alone" we told her.
But now, the guy does not even want her to meet with any of us any more, he takes her to sch, monitors her time table and ready outside to take her back home as soon as shes done, takes her out alone and shares all her time with her alone.
how can someone be so possessive? i have seen such people but i think his is to an extreme.
I AM SURE SHE COULD NOT HANDLE IT ANYMORE, SHE TOLD HIM SHE WANTS A BREAK FROM THE RELATIONSHIP , SHE WANTS TO BE WITH HER GIRL FRIENDS AND OTHER PEOPLE THOUGH SHE IS FREE NOW BUT I CAN SEE IT, SHE IS NOT HAPPY. I FEEL IT WAS A GOOD CHOICE, I MIGHT BE WRONG THOUGH.
I think your friend made the right choice. All you can do is be there to support her.
