The economy is crashing, war is among us and so much more, that affects you. As a college student, you need to take in account the future of your life. You have power to steer this country in the direction that you think is best to move yourself forward. Your vote makes a difference, not only in this country, but the entire world. We must find the leader that will help us reach the goals to better the world. Use the tools that you already have, to help yourself to make the decision you find best. Voting allows you to further the education you desire, through life experience. You learn what values you hold dear, and what you think this country needs in order to advance in the real world.
We are capable of making this huge decision. The government thinks were capable of such a decision, or we wouldn’t have the power to do so. We know what will better our future. We’re learning about it every day. It’s important for us to vote, because the election transforms our future. As the next generation, it is our turn to take control of our own lives with this election. This presidency is so important, because it determines how our education will continue. Voting allows us to get what we want out of life. If we know how the country is going to operate during our college life than we’ll be better prepared to enter the next journey of our life, with confidence and knowledge.
The adults shouldn’t be the only ones to decide our future. Yes they have more experience, yes they are “wiser,” but we also have a say in what happens in our lives. This is the time where we step into adulthood and create the future best suited for your life. We do have the brains; we do have the ability to take matters into our own hands. Your one vote does matter, because if you don’t cast your voice, then it won’t be heard. You may be only one person, but if you take that one vote, then it’s one more person voicing their view on how the representatives should do their job. With one more vote, you decrease the chance of another close call. Imagine if all of us got together, how well the representatives will take notice in what we, the next generation, want. If there’s that one more voice then there’s that one more increase in power. If we’re all together, then we can’t be denied the power that has been given to us.
Taking the time to USE your power is never a waste. This is a luxury that most countries don’t have, and should be used as often as possible. You have been given this privilege at the age of 18, allowing our generation to move our country forward. There is no time commitment but 2 minutes to change our life for four years. If you take the time to think about how the country can be changed, then voicing your opinion shouldn’t be any different; in fact it actually helps the country advance towards change for the better.
Don’t raise your voice; don’t take the rightful gift that was given to you. It’s a waste of time, and no one should do it. Just let the adults take care of it, there more experienced and know what is best. Silence is not the answer. Take a stand and get control of your own life. As teens we are known to make mistakes, don’t make the biggest one of your life by not voting. There is always a way, get involved and know what you want from life. Your future is a vote away.
A Vote Away
