Sneaky Sneaky, Mr. Government

Roswell, New Mexico. Area 51.
Pandora’s Box has been opened, let Chaos reign supreme.
Now I now there are skeptics out there from both sides. I’ve even heard that the whole thing is a hoax, that the government was really doing something else they had to cover up for. But why on earth would they cover-up with…another cover-up? And one about aliens and the paranormal to boot.
Beyond miles upon miles of barren desert and barbed wire, warning signs and camouflaged “Cammo Dudes” security, lies the Nellis Bombing and Gunnery Range. Inside of this base lies the dry Groom Lake, contained within is Area 51; a secret military facility built by the CIA in the late 1950’s.

They wear camouflage fatigues without insignia and drive white Jeep Cherokees with government plates. They keep close watch on any visitors that come within a few miles of the border, but they are under orders to avoid contact. Wherever a road crosses the border, it is marked by clear "Restricted Area" signs which should not be crossed.”
Oh, and did they mention that, by law, they also have the authority to shoot if you should be able to cross? Pretty harsh for a supposedly empty site. There’s even a story floating around other sites that Air Force personnel stationed near Area 51 are not allowed with risk of dishonorable discharge to fly knowingly over the site.

If the government says it has nothing to hide, and no experiments are going on there, why does it matter if they open it up to tourism? The government’s never been against making money before, why not charge a fee to go inside and explore?
Maybe there is a secret government and/or military experiment going on there. Maybe they’re doing research and don’t want anyone else to know for fear of information leaking into the wrong hands. I don’t know if I believe in UFO’s and flying saucers, but I do know that when people try that hard to keep you from something, there must be more to the story than meets the eye.
