Woah Buddy...It's My Body...

You know what i find truly ridiculous? How someone can tell me what to do with my body when I am a grown woman. I am Pro-Choice and i believe that every woman, no matter what the circumstances, should have the right to abort a baby. ITS HER BODY FOR GODS SAKE!!!

i do also believe that some personal responsibility should be taken though...having 8 abortions is a little much and I think at some point you should stop and either get on the pill or wear protection. But a woman should not have to bring a baby into this world if she does not want to, and i think it is outrageous that the government is gonna try to make a personal choice illegal.

Its my body! you're not having the kid! I am! -----and what if it isn't the right time to have a baby? like if the mother cannot financially support a child at the moment? or if there will be an unstable home environment? who wants to bring a child into that? NO No NO but those Pro-Life people believe that the life of the child is at conception...and yes it very well may be...but who are you to make a decision for millions of women everywhere? who are you to force them to have a child unless it is life threatening or they were raped, etc?

If the government can have control over our bodies...what is next? or is that the most frightening thing? the fact that the government can in fact...if the republicans get favor...overturn Roe vs. Wade and make abortion illegal...what about all of those women who don't want a child? you cannot punish them. i know that they have to face the consequences of their actions...but what about the life of that baby? yes there is the option of giving the baby up for adoption, but what if the mother doesn't want to carry the child to term? there are many situations in which the whole idea would be ridiculous and seriously inconvenient.

The whole situation just angers me.

If you do believe that life begins at the point of conception then you should realize that the child should have the same rights as any other american citizen and that includes the right to live.
it is not about a woman's choice. it is about a child that has a beating heart.

so if somone's commits a homocide
the murderer would just say it was his or her choice.
and it is okay.
is that justice?

The child doesn't have a beating heart at conception. At that point, the child is equivalent to a skin cell.

A heart beat is detected as early as 22 days after conception. Normally people do not even know they are even pregnant then.

And the brain, which defines us as human, is not properly developed until about 20 weeks (which is also about the time that the child begins to be viable outside the womb, though it's chances for survival at 20 weeks are almost nil, and it is usually just before this or around this time that the quickening occurs). Most women do know they're pregnant by then....
