The American Election: A Contest of Who Can Make the Other Sound Worse?

As America has become the center of all the worlds problems here lately, it's become obvious that in order to continue working for our prosperity ( as stated in our nation's constitution), we will have to change our ways.

And that should all start with the changing of our election process.

Our election process is not what our founding fathers would have liked. No longer is it fair, no longer is it working for the common good of the people. The honest man is pushed into last place, while the man on offense attacks and eventually wins. Is this the way to go?

Attack ads are very prominent on television; no matter how hard you try to avoid them, they pop up everywhere. Who wants a president that is simply good at attacking people? We need someone intelligent, and someone who would stand up for the issues we all care about as opposed to simply throwing out that the other candidate is going to do the wrong thing.

Attack ads should be banned, in all seriousness. They are not fair, and they only bring negativity to the election season. This season should be a happy one, as soon we will all enjoy someone new, someone literate, and, well, NOT BUSH.

It's time for a change America, a positive one.
