Q: what magazine do you read. A: Oh i read them all. Q: yes but mainly which ones? A: well, like I said, I read them all.
Someone please explain to me how answering that question could have possibly hurt her? My theory ... she doesn't read any of them. Any politician that can't spit out at least The New York Times or Time Magazine is lying. No Palin, being briefed on current events is not the same as reading the actual newspaper. When you're running for office you need to be in touch with not only everything that is happening within the scope of your office [[which for her would be most everything]], but also with the different views on the subject. How can you find out this information without reading the newspaper or the popular political magazines? Point blank: a nod, a smile, and a reference to how great it is to live in California is not a sufficient answer for a political question! Yes, she may be charming, but she comes off to be as dim as a light bulb. It always shocks me when I hear about the "hours upon hours" she spends preparing for debates and interviews. I believe the only reasons she even gets positive responses from her speeches is because of: a)die hard republicans, and b) someone else writes most of her speeches for her. I do apologize to the die hard republicans because I understand party loyalty, and I'm sorry that your party made such a mistake in their vice presidential candidate. Not much to say about that one. But Obama on the other hand ...
What magazine do you read ?? is it really that hard of a question sarah ??

"dim as a light bulb"
well i thought that light bulbs were always pretty bright. i mean i can not look at one that is turned on because it blinds me. Light bulbs also represent an idea. I doubt that Sarah Palin has many ideas.
she is more like dim and dense as fog.
It's pretty obvious she's illiterate, I mean she can't throw out the name of a magazine just to please the crowd. I just love Tina Fey's impression of her, because it's dead on. I'm not a Republican, but I feel sorry for those who are, because she is so very obviously unqualified.
Honestly listening to this lady speak actually makes me angry. I think John McCain only picked her because A) she is a female, and thought that would balance with Hillary Clinton backing Obama and B) she is a mother, so people expect her to be well... motherly and take care of business.
I quote her when she found out she was nominated as VP
"Some of life's greatest opportunities come unexpectedly, and this is certainly the case today."
The rest of the U.S. gasped and agreed
