haha sometimes there are so many things to talk about that it's hard to just pick one and go. I'm having that problem today. So I'll write about the general mojo. I'm watching this tv about a prison in Alaska. It's scary how prisoners are so violent and careless for other people's feelings. It makes me wonder if they should be helped in a mental facility or stay locked down in prison. Most inmates have criminal thoughts but mental illnesses as well. So maybe we should help them? Yet the same arguement could be made that once a criminal, always a criminal. And what if the criminal offense was severe, such as murder and / or rape? I"m somewhat of an extremist when it comes to those situations. Kind of weird, but I think that if you kill someone, you should be killed. in exactly the same way as you had done to the victim. Of course it's unethical. Lethal injection and maybe sometimes the electrical chair are the only methods of the death penalty that will ever be in effect, but somehow I don't think it's enough. Being killed by a lethal injection is not justice for the victim who was raped and stabbed to death. Disagree with me, as I know you guys will, but that' s how I see things.
ANd how did I end off on a tangent again, talking about political issues and standings on issues???? Augh, I do it everytime. lol
i did not mean to post this 3 times ~!!!!!!!!!!

The victim is dead. the victim never seeks revenge. I think it is not necessary to seek justice for a dead person. What we should do is approach the matter holistically. what would be best for society? Does the person have any remorse? is their a chance he or she will benefit society? these questions must be asked before anything drastic is decided.
you make a good point but... if we're talking about a murderer here, it's doubtful that they ever will show any remorse or ever benefit society. In fact, the only connection to bettering society might be in the case that the murderer is evaluated and their behavior monitored to better understand muderess intentions and thoughts.
