Earlier I mentioned that the way a person handles their diet reflects a lot on how they develop their economics. NOW, I want to analyze a diet down to another perspective, that of the societal world view.
In the past, I have joined organizations with the purpose of asking the most rich of society to let go of their money to help the least fortunate of society in a form of creating equality among life on earth, so to speak. This focus began a movement towards the forgiving of dents to non-developed countries that were poor, and things along those lines. Did you ever think a diet could follow along the same mindframe?
When a person over eats, they aren’t considering the rest of society that may benefit from that food source. However, there are many factors related to that. For instance, does the over eating actually realize where the food comes from? Are they aware that resources may be limited to our ability to grow them as fast as we use them. Do they know such political facts as that those is developing or nondeveloped regions rely on their main source of income from degrading crops and resources. When one overeats such resources, these countries no longer have enough resources left to even feed themselves. Accordingly, when one overeats resources, even in countries such as the United States, we are forced to rely on resources outside of our own regions in order to survive.
Another factor in resource consumption is that of environmentalism. When one over eats resources, then agricultural entities are forced to over use and over graze the land. Overeating create a huge environmental impact that results in degradation, desalination, and eventual ruining of the land.
Basically, your diet reflects on your societal values. Even if those values aren’t apparent, even the value of ignorance and carelessness can be reflected in ones inability to control their own diet and make excuses of the such.

Much agreed. our overeating reflects our atiittudes about individualism and capitallistic views. overeating is deserved because we bought the food and we have the right to eat it. however, as you said it also reflects our ignorance and unlaterial approach to subjects.
