i recently just moved to a new place in a new town by myself. my brother and my father moved all of my furniture from point a to point b. they rock. i love my furniture. i love my couch. i love my rocking chair. i love my velvet spinning stool, i love my coffee table. i've been sitting on my couch and enjoying my new place, but something felt wrong. the flow was off. the focal point off. it became hard to concentrate on any school work or have thoughts of entertaining people. my furniture was in the wrong place. it worked, but it didn't feel right.
so last night i moved my furniture around. i mean completely around and i can't stop smiling at how much better the living room looks and good it feels. yes, it's true, i feel better because i rearranged my furniture. think what you will. i know i'm happier and at peace with the new configuration. shifting objects around in a room can make or break a person's feeling of security, contentment, peacefulness. it makes sense.
i find myself finding it easier to concentrate on getting my work done and all by moving simple objects around in a four-walled space. weird. just think of what else you can move around in your life to make life more enjoyable.

You've just described the application of Feng Shui in your... living room? If you aren't familiar with it, you should check out some books on the subject. It sounds like something you may be interested in. :-)
"What a crazy random happenstance!"
