The Communist Revolution and World Peace

The Bolshevik Revolution was a spark of hope for the human civilization amid the war and violence that plagued it for centuries. The October Revolution showed signs of a future society where human beings lived and worked together in a peaceful society. It was built on the idea of decentralized organization of a large group of people in order to produce what is needed. There were soviets set up in each community (villages, city neighborhoods) that was a congregation of peasants, farmers, and workers that were politically involved. Thus the working class was mobilized and took upon itself the role of deciding the fate of the country. In the end, the revolution prevailed and the Bolsheviks took power. However, due to a civil war waged by the West capitalist powers - the Bolsheviks were forced to centralize authority in order to fight the war. Thus the communist revolution was killed in its infancy.

However, there are many lessons that are worthwhile to study from this. Decentralization is a way of organization. It prevents the corruption that is likely in a centralized structure, and allows for a purer democracy. In a decentralized state, involvement of all communities is needed and communication between these communities is essential. Thus diplomacy prevails, and coordination between communities increase. Communities become accustomed with each other, so likelihoods of conflicts decrease. Each soviet spreads awareness among its members. So the masses are educated on politics and economics of relevance. Thus the citizens of these communities become responsible in their actions.

The communist revolution is predicted by Karl Marx to be the last revolution - the Great Proletarian Revolution. This marks the end of class struggle and unites the entire human civilization on a peaceful Earth. I believe these are goals we must strive for - the end of class struggle, and peace on Earth. Poverty is the result of capitalism. Poverty is a disease. Poverty affects the lives of billions, in a population of six billion. Poverty is unimaginable, unless you are exposed to it. Poverty is depicted by religions as hell.

The end of poverty will bring about peace. This is desirable. The end of poverty, and world peace.

Let me share a quote with you. "communism in theory is a good practice but in practice it is a good theory." The thirst for power is to great for people not to abuse the system and try and take power.

Having been poor is no shame, but being ashamed of it, is. Benjamin Franklin, Poor Richards Almanack, 1749

of course one should not be ashamed of being poor. in fact, the happiest people on Earth are also the poorest. they appreciate life more, and are closer to God. However, they need not live in the deplorable conditions that billions of people live in today. they live without water, without food, without education, without protection from diseases, with ill treatment from all parts of society, with malfucntioning families, without protection of property and life, without freedom. they are human beings, and they deserve a better life. and we can give it to them. the sun puts out enough energy for the entire human population to live like kings. its a shame that billions of people have to live under these conditions.

decentralized communism cannot be taken advantage of by power hungry people because of its nature. it is spread out in communities, and the authority is spread out as well. there is no central bank or government that controls all the money and the military.

i will post a blog on a probable future communist state.
