Saturday with the dentist,pre-calc text book, and Gossip Girl

What a wonderful day it had been!

My day started at 7:00 in the morning when I woke up and headed out the door to rollerblade. I know it may seem that I am a little too old to roller blade around the block, but it is one of the very few sources of exercising activities I have...Plus, it helps me get away with my problems when I feel the fresh coastal breeze run past my skin.

I then had to go to the dentist and discovered that I will have to take my wisdom tooth out very soon. My first expression was an extremely shocked one since I never knew that it is a type of surgery! They literally have to dig a hole into your gum to take the molar out...YIKES...Ive heard that it is not very painful since they give you a large amount of amnesia. It would be very great if someone will be willing to share there experience of having there wisdom tooth out...As for me, wish me luck!

Afterwards, I spent an hour or two finishing my pre-calc homework...and yess...I am one of the very few that loves to do homework. It makes me feel like I am actually doing something productive and just the fact that I can feel knowledge traveling inside my brain from a large thick text book satisfies me o so very much! Talk about being nerdy huh? Just in certain situations like this...=)

I couldn't end the day without watching Gossip Girl. To all Gossip Girl fans out there, feel free to reply to this post!

Well, I guessed that's it.

Till next time,

I think getting your wisdom teeth out varies among people.

I had all 4 of mine out at the same time. I was given a prescription for Tylenol with codeine for pain, and I never used it. I do not have a high pain tolerance. Motrin, milkshakes, and popsicles ended up being just fine for me.

My friend had his wisdom teeth taken out, and ended up getting dry sockets and had to make a few trips back to the dentist to get them treated. He was also prescribed vicodin for pain, which ended up really coming in handy for him, especially with the dry sockets.

Usually, people are just fine. Good luck! :-)

I had eight wisdom teeth, and had to get them all out. I fainted when the doctor tried to stick the niddle into my arm, so he just decided to shoot tons and tons of novocain around my impacted wisdom teeth. i was awake the entire time, but didnt feel any pain.

my cheeks were swollen and a bit bruised for a few days, but the pain is usually gone after two days. your doctor will prescribe you some type of narcotic to ease the pain.
don't worry about. it may be a bit painful, but it is not as bad as it seems.
just stock up on liquids like tomatoe soup, milkshakes, and slushies.

good luck!
