Work is essential to life. Breathing is necessary for one to live. Breathing is work. One has to eat and drink in order to live. Life is manifested through these different forms of work. Life is perpetuated by work. Death is end of work.
Work is the fundamental element of life. Our society has become lifeless because it has moved away from work. Our children are lazy. They abhor work. They are more prone to sleep in then to wake up early. They are provided with ways to facilitate this disease of laziness that has spread through our society. Video games, television, and the computer are examples of misused technology that has led our youth astray. They spend countless hours immersed in these mindless activities (watching television, playing video games, browsing cheap websites, instant messaging cheap messages). Our children have become as unproductive as our government. They find work to be unattractive.
Our children must realize the bliss that is in work. In order to discover this, they must begin working. Those of us that work understand that life is within work. Those of us that work are alive to our fullest capability, and are in a state of peace and happiness. Our children must begin working, so that they find this peace also. They are lost in the abyss of death, grasping onto life by threads of food and sleep. They are empty within, and crave the substance that they are blind to. Our children must work.
Our education system is broken. It is as evil as the media in its propaganda. It teaches no values, and allows the children to become empty shells. It is painful to see our children become as low as the lowest caste in human society, joined by our corrupt government officials, our corrupt businessmen, our murderers that do not possess the philosophical understanding of life and societal relations.
Our education system must provide our children with an opportunity to become wise and hard working. It must breed the future citizens of our society that will be responsible and learned. It must produce men like Socrates and Newton. It must encourage free and independent thinking, strong analytic capabilities, strong understanding, strong implicit morality, and a sense of appreciation of life.
Life is a gift from God. So it must be beautiful, elegant, and heavenly. In life, we must be happy. It is our responsibility to cherish this gift. We must work to make use of this gift that we have gotten. We must create life ourselves.
Our education system must promote creativity. It must instill qualities in our children that will make them peaceful. Some suggestions for our education system are the following -
i. provide free education to all children beginning at an early age (when the children are not breast fed anymore)
ii. provide the children with access to nature daily, so that they are introduced to trees, forests, gardens, rivers, hills, the sky, the sun, the moon, and other life forms
iii. provide the children with access to stimulants such as music, visual art, theatrical performance, and literature (read to them)
iv. allow the children to participate in creative projects
v. allow the children that are old enough (4-5 years old) to participate in philosophical discussions

We should all place them in concentration camps and make them break boulders for hours to make them understand the value of work. ( little brats)
jk.
i do agree that our school system is broken and has stunted creativity in many middle schoolers and high schoolers.
i defintely agree of with you suggestions, but i would like to add one more condition, that all of the suggestion should continue throughout middle school and high school.
i also believe we should have more open discussion and debates in the classroom it would stimulate creativity and growth and perhaps motivate students to start work.
I thought about a school system that requires children to attend school between ages 2-10. After this, they can spend their teenage years outside of school, learning through work and travel. Somewhere around 18-19, they can return to their education and attend classes in an university.
I like this system because it is very broad in its scope. Our children are exposed to many facets of life, not only inside school, but also outside of it. Traveling to various parts of the world and being introduced to different cultures is an often neglected aspect of a child's education. This broadens and expands the child's ability to think and create. Working at an early age makes the child a hard worker and a responsible person
yes it is true that traveling is often neglected in a child's education, but i often believe this is a result of lack of funding. it is very expensive to travel. not every dhild can just hop on a bus or plane and go somewhere. there are other problems too. the american school system is not that open to studying abroad programs. i was a foreign exchange student for a year and ii had to repeat my junior year when i came home.
working or apprentiship is a good idea . they can become more focused on what profession they may want to persue in future, and learn the value of hard work.
very interesting ideas!
