There the media goes again.

So anyone ever wonder why the media gets so much attention. Why do we give the media all of our time and attention when they are the ones making a small problem huge. I mean come on with the Casey Anthongy situation. Who cares if Casey went to the lawyers offie from 10-2 and can't leave the house after that. Who cares. i mean they have taken all of our focus off of the issue here and planted it where it really doesn't matter. Yes, it would be nice to find the young child but come on. Since day 6 when they found decomposition in the car this case should have been tried and rid of. However I do undertand that tyou have to have evidence, but besides the body what more do we need. I say before you decide to leave it all up to the media, do a little research for yourselves and see where the truth really lies. I feel that it high time the media started focusing more on our youth today instead of all the bad that is going on in this world. We need to let the young ones of today know there is more important things out here besides killings and bad media coverage. let us see the good of America for just one night.

Fear sells. Sadness sells. Empathy sells. Anger sells.

Good news doesn't sell very well, unless there is someone to blame and get mad at.

"Democracy works only when you vote. When you don't take the time to vote for the candidate you find the least offensive, you run the risk of electing the candidate you find the most offensive."

Like bummer said, happiness doesn't sell, so the media doesn't want to move on.
On the flip side, I agree. Not about the Casey Anthony thing, but about politics. Have you noticed how the media gives about five second snippets of speeches? Yeah, that's great for time and everything, but let's have some sensibility here. I mean, if you're going to base your vote on the little snippets, you're going to be slanted based on the way your media is slanted. Fox will slant you towards McCain, and CNN is more towards Obama.
