Everyone should follow the link below. Its all about plastic bags and how they interact with our earth. When I saw it, it broke my heart. Plastic bags should come at a price. Putting a price on plastic bags would only harm myself because a lot of the time I get plastic bags from the grocery store to use in picking up dog poop when I walk my dogs (the idea of all of the sulfur and nitrogen and phosphorous getting rained into the nearby waterbodies severally damages my perceptions of it being OK to just leave dog poop laying around on the ground, besides I also enjoy running with them in the open area and it's hard to do that when you fear stepping in a big pile of doodoo :D), but when they get stocked up well enough, I'll use the reusable tote bag that I bought for only $1 from the store. UNFORTUNATELY though, everyone else doesn't use that philosophy. Some just use plastic bags to use them, or because they think it's more convenient to go with plastic or some even are under the impression that plastic is less expensive although it really isn't.
