New Soul

Some times when things are tough you need something to pick you up. For me I have a large collection of song that helps me motivate and survive the trials and tribulations that life gives you. When you can’t find the right one you just need to leave it chance. So turn on what ever digital player you have and set to shuffle. The first song that pop up for me it New Soul by Yael Naïm, the same one for the thin computer commercials.

I may not be a new soul but I am a changed. Recently I had lost a family member. When you have lost like this it puts things in perspective. You learn to enjoy the life you have and the memories that will always be with you. You also eat way too much food that family and friends bring you so you don’t have to cook.

Thing are never going to be the same. Your life changes. I know now that I want to take better care of my life so I can live as long as possible. When I drive I will pay more attention to my surroundings. I do not want any one to go through what I have to, but I realize that we must at some time in our lives.
How we deal with it is what makes us human.

I am very sorry for your loss, I understand how that goes, I have lost many family members that I was close to including my mother 2 years ago. Very inspiring blog. I hope things are going ok for you. If you need anyone you know where to find me.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I am voting for Lewis Black.

Post. I like your discription of listening to a digital music playing device on shuffle when depressed to find a song which might change the mood. I did that once, of course, the song which popped up was "Exit Music for a Film" by Radiohead, which is a very depressing song.

I am sorry to hear of your loss. From personal experience, I know that writing is good therapy.
