Currently, I am entering data into Votebuilder, which is a program that is used to determine who supports who in the upcoming presidential election. Data entry is one of the many things I do on a daily basis. I am also a student at the local public high school, and I take AP courses there. I work at a local, family owned business. The Prairie Market has been a part of Fremont, OH for 125 years. That's quite the spot of time. Many places in Fremont have been here, well, since I can remember. And so, the perfect topic for me to write about would be that I am working on Senator Barack Obama's Campaign For Change. I appreciate change in this world, even in a town that does not seem to. As I split my time between the campaign and the meat market, I realize what a wide variety of people, places, and things are out in the world. I realize to have change in our future, whether it be at the government level, or simply in the citizens of small town America or any other country, for that matter, we must learn to tolerate each other. I am working with many other young people in this campaign, and many older people, as well. We are all of different races, different backgrounds. Some of us are rich, and some of us are poor. But, I see the cohersiveness that goes into making this campaign a well-oiled machine. We all come together, in an attempt to get the good Senator elected president. At the market, I listen to Rush Limbaugh on the radio, and while I can hardly stand some of the things coming out of the man's mouth, I know that the people I am working with respect his opinions, and I respect theirs. We all have to be fluid, and flexible, and work together to accomplish change, even if means occasionally looking over some of our deepest values.
The last statement made me sound like a complete sell out, but I think sometimes, we do need to compromise. I see the people in The Prairie Market who do not compromise, and I think of them as ignorant. I do not mean to, but somehow, it's funny, the one thing I will not compromise is my belief in compromise.

I am full of contradictions today, and perhaps tomorrow will hold a better blog.
When my brain is less scrambled, and I can think of a better topic other than how I spend my time.
