career ideas... anthropologist

So i was channel surfing today and I landed on Travel Channel and i see this show called Tribal Odyssey. This time it is about a tribe called the Zo-E. They're from Brazil the northern part near Guyana. They live with their families and hunt in the Amazon. I guess every time I watch these show I remember the class I took my first semester of college, Intro to Anthropology.
I don't really remember my professors name but I do recall him telling of his adventure with a tribe in Papua New Guinea. I clearly remember him telling us that they planted yams and would grow them to be big in tradition. My professor had to unearth his a bit earlier than expected. But he told us stories of the people and and how they were just like us.
We were his first class back since he returned. I really liked it. So now I watch show on TC and live vicariously through the camera mans lenses and wish I co existed with them.
The Zo-E have pets, and dance and harvest food. I do wish that one day i could have the opportunity to live amongst them.
Maybe my ideas of being a lawyer or a doctor [i haven't decided] are just because they are what people see as normal. I long for adventure and maybe if I go to a small region in the world I'll learn enough to become a great leader someday. What do you think?
