i've watched the 3 debates so far and i'm looking forward to the last one on wed 10/15. but who won the VP debate?
biden definately started out stronger, but palin did a good job, partly because expectations were sooooo low, she held her own and really came on top in the end, but not by much.
(at the first debate articles on yahoo gave mccain a b- and obama an a-, i'd give palin a b+ and biden a b)
i think national expectations for biden were higher than he delivered, and the opposite is true of palin, one article on fox news (i hate that unfair and unbalanced channel but just started checking out the online bc i want to see what some of the tight ass conservatives are in to) neway that article advised palin to be herself, and it seems like she really took that advice, its obvious from watching past debates that palin can speak well and be on her toes when she knows what she's talking about. she and her team crammed well for this "pop quiz debate" and it showed. I like the folksy side, not gonna lie, we saw her cutesy pit bull demeanor, but its also kinda unprofessional and non executive, does that matter, definatly not to some. but her charm can be disarming.
hard core liberals are wishing biden would have dug in to her more (i mean she messed up that general's name 2 TIMES! and he didnt correct her, but she had to point out that the environment raping chant is drill baby drill not drill drill drill) of course we have to think, if he hadnt taken the high road, biden (per his track record) might have flubbed up big time, and said something like "your right sarah, facts get in the way, obama's not ready, and your ticket is better, now come over and give daddy some sugar" ok i'm exaggerating, but he HAS SAID SOME STUPID ASS SHIT, his filters dont always work.
barbar walters hit it on the head on the view a couple days ago, just because palin crammed well, doesnt really mean she's ready to be VP but it does mean she's learning quickly.
