The world is changing and I am most certainly not afraid that it is changing for the worse. You see...all of this talk of change and hope is getting in the way of my thinking. It's like someone has taken a magical dunce cap and placed it on my head in the hope that I will wake up one morning and forget how to eat, shower, and - Oh, I don't know...pick the next president. I will be relatively blunt with you [whoever you are]. I am a Christian...I love God, I know that certain things are wrong and do not necessarily come into check with the Bible. How can I possibly vote for a candidate (Barack Obama) who supports abortion?

Answer: I can't.
Question: Janet, why not? He has more experience than that ole' Sarah Palin.
Answer: Sarah Palin is not running for president at the moment and Barack Obama is.
Question: John McCain is old though, so Sarah Palin is closer to the presidency than you think.
Answer: And she does not support abortion and has loads more experience than Obama does to begin with. So if in the event that she does become president due to unseen circumstances, I will be at ease because she is not Barack Obama.
Question: Sarah Palin doesn't know foreign policy though.
Answer: And Barack Obama does?
Question: He is a senator. So yeah!
Answer: He was absent on 49% of his congressional votes...and he still supported abortion and was wrong about the surge in Iraq.
Question: He is what we need. You don't know what you're talking about....we need change. We don't want the same.
Answer: Yeah...I seem to have heard that SOMEWHERE before..."hm." What about Bill Ayers? What about our dependence on foreign oil? What about the war in Iraq? Don't you want the war to end?
Question: I want peace. Yes I want the war to end. Obama is going to end it. Yes, I want the U.S to not have to pump money into these countries for overpriced oil. Who is Bill Ayers?

So what is the problem facing our society today? Political ignorance or just sheer ignorance. Take your pick.

I love your blog. We suffer from ignorance in general, I don't guess most Americans find this election important enough to find the facts. Let's just vote for Palin because she is a woman.

I was wondering if you agree with Palin's stance on banning abortions in cases of rape and incest. Also, how did you feel about McCain's air quoting of "health" during the third presidential debate in reference to women receiving abortions due to health risks. Do you think that there should be an exception for the health of the mother? Do you think that exception should be limited to exclude late-term abortions? Do you think the health exception is abused? Do you feel that McCain belittled women's health issues in that reference?
