Here is the love?

My father was listening to a political radio show yesterday and I decided to listen in. The host of the radio show began comparing politics to promiscuity. I had never before thought about it but this is a pretty apt analogy. The host referred to the whole deal as political herpes. With all this negativity on the campaign the anger people feel towards each other none of these politicians are not looking out for our best interests and people need to realize that. These grown "mature" people sling insults and leak bad press about each other, it is ridiculous. Why do they feel it necessary to hurt other just to get ahead. These are the people who run our country. It seems they should be held to at least the same standards as the rest of us. It seems like they should act better they are role models the same as any star in Hollywood. Why are they acting like little children, my 3 year old sister has better manners than these people. It seems like we could find some better options to be the head of our country. Maybe if we had a halfway decent president we would get some real respect from other countries instead of them just tolerating us because we supply their whole tourist trade. These politicians are the STD of the U.S.! Maybe next election year we will have Paris Hilton running, it would not suprise me the way politics is running downhill.
