Tell me why are we so keen on spending money we do not have? The U.S. government has already given them $85 million and now they want even more. never mind that after their first they went and spent $440,000 on a luxury vacation. I may not pay taxes yet but I feel the taxpayers pain. Why should the little people be paying for the big guys to go party? This greed is not even just evident in the national level. I live in a fairly small town. unemployment is rampant right now, whether politicians want to admit it or not we are in a recession approaching *gasp* the d-word, depression. So I am wondering why in this horrible time the mayor of my small town is preparing to spend over $5000. You ask what she is spending on, not anything the people need that is for sure. She was preparing to shell out all this money to redecorate her office at the taxpayer's expense. Can anyone honestly tell me that greed is not rampant here, no wonder all these other countries hate America when they see things like this it gives all of us a bad name.

Economy
I think the economy will not prosper when people in adminstration continues to spend money on uneccessary things as well. I have wondered why it cost so much for war in Iraq. We were suppose to go over there to help them establish a government and teach them to protect theirself and where is all the money going. I think someone should look at the tab and figure out why our country is spending so much over there and it is costing the taxpayers more money we do not have. Do our country really owe that much money? Where did we go wrong?
