Obama is not a terrorist, but he is the answer

I try to be as professional as i can when it comes to discussing these topics but Republican Conservatives are really starting to piss me off. The hate mobs that were present during some recent McCain and Palin speeches resembled the KKK lynch mobs during slavery days. What the hell is wrong with people that makes them think it's ok to yell out such things as "terrorist" and "get him!" during a rally?

The leading members of the GOP need to get their priorities straight and call out these 'haters' and say that this bigotry is inappropriate. We dont live in the 1800's anymore. These people need to realize that their idiotic remarks only hurt their own party and that smart rational people see through the bull****. So Obama was associated with Ayers..what significance does that have to do with anything? Republicans see that their chances of succeeding in this election are wearing thin so the most radical members are turning to racism and hate brought on by a deepening fear of change in the White House. Change which is: a black president.

It stuns me to see that people care more about a candidates backround than what he or she is willing to do to get this country out of this ****hole that a Republican has gotten us into. Higher taxes for the middle class and tax cuts for the wealthy...is this what people really want? And Palin. What can i say about Palin. She came out of nowhere and people see her as the messiah for bringing non-partisanship and old-fashionded American ethics to the party. In my view, she tries a little bit too hard to relate to the "folksy American". People don't care how she speaks, or that she's a hockey mom, they care that if McCain were to have a heart attack (lets face it, it's a very real possibility) and die, would she be able to lead the country? The very clear answer is NO. She lacks more experience than Obama in almost every issue that Americans are dealing with today. McCain picked her because she's a woman for the lame attempt of gaining some Hillary supporters that Obama might have lost for picking Biden but this attempt failed.

Obama seems like the only sincere person here that is playing the game the way it is supposed to be played. Not that his campaign isn't launching any attacks towards McCain or Palin but at least he doesn't circumvent his own lack of knowledge by bringing up senseless things like "guilt by association". Perhaps if McCain didn't treat every crisis as a political ploy to gain points for his campaign, his own members might not be so scattered and angry.

Go OBAMA!!!

Your comments that Palin has significantly less experience than Obama does is laughable. You comment that Palin has come from nowhere and is trying to bring old-fashioned politics back to America. Maybe that's what America really needs right now, is to get back to the truth, and down to reality, instead of pretending that we won't need to raise taxes in order to put through all of Obama's spending plan. Also, Obama has shown up from nowhere too! yet you don't question his background?! He attended a very small college for a few years, then all of a sudden he was in a prestigious law school? Then, he became the community organizer in Chicago for 2 years (at $12,000/yr), which gives him zero experience still. Somehow, he moved from the never heard of community organizer to a state Senator. That raises questions in my book! He's only been in that position for a few years too! He does not have experience in regards to actually leading. He's always been a follower. As a community organizer, he didn't really have a specific task that he had to accomplish. He wasn't truely responsible for anything. While in the Senate, he hasn't made any big moves to introduce meaningful legislation, or to take a leadership position either. He's been a follower this whole time! Palin has been on her PTA, served as a local mayor, and as a state governor (btw, her state has surpluses, and is able to feed that back into their state's economy and taxpayers, which no other state can say). In my mind, that's a whole lot more experience than Obama has!!!

Secondly, the republicans are not to blame for our economy going down the tubes. It's been traced back to the Clinton administration. What everyone thought was a booming economy actually had a not so great lining. It was during that time that these banks that are failing gave out sooo many loans and risky mortgages. The stock market was booming, but it was just an artificial climb. The companies did not really gain that much value that fast...it was heightened. There was a lot of ballooning that occurred during those years, and a culmination of all of those things have led to our economy being where it is today.

I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I strongly disagree with your statements.

No disrespect taken, but i strongly disagree with your political perspective.

The reason why I don’t question Obama’s background is because I don’t need to. The media, mostly the republican partisan affiliated side, tend to throw out random and extremely false claims about Obama and how he came into power when the truth is that he was a community organizer, civil rights attorney, and leader in the Illinois state senate for years. He worked in Chicago for church-based groups to improve living conditions for the poor. And why is it so astonishing that he went to Harvard Law School from a community college? Perhaps because he’s smart and worked for a cause. Sarah Palin was the mayor of a really small town and the state governor, that doesn’t necessarily mean she has more experience within the community.

Your tendency to raise questions seems to stem from a manifestation of paranoia established by the GOP. Obama became a state senator for the same reasons most small town community organizers became state senators, there’s no conspiracy here. And you really think that Sarah Palin is what America needs right now? Saying that Obama hangs out with terrorists when the fact is that Obama was never close to Ayers.

"a guy who lives in my neighborhood," but "not somebody who I exchange ideas from on a regular basis." "somebody who engaged in detestable acts 40 years ago, when I was 8 years old."

This is in fact true, and if you support someone like Palin after that stunt she pulled, then you are just feeding ignorance. As i said before, the McCain campaign realizes that they're losing, losing to a guy that they have dubbed 'the empty suit', so they're reverting to cowardly and distasteful methods of hate speeches and political mud slinging. These aren't the people that Americans want or need to lead them to success.

I'm a bit of a history geek, so I hate seeing when people get historical facts wrong.
The Klan was founded AFTER the Civil War, hence after "slavery days"
