American Foreign Policy...Friends & Foes

So what do you think about the Bush administrations' foreign policy? We have a declared "war on terrorism" that is not defined, has no clear outcome, no clear mission and no exit strategy. Are you between the ages of 18 and 32? If you are, then you should be doubly concerned about the U.S.'s foreign policies and the war on terror, because why? Because you could be conscripted to go into military service or become a fugitive.

Right now the American military is spread thin in Iraq and Afghanistan with active interventions ongoing. We have a military "prescence" in many other countries as well. We have just established a new command in Africa, that cannot be stationed in Africa because no country in Africa wants to host us there. Read your world news on the internet, watch your nightly world news on your local channels, watch CNN. Read the New York Times.

We have sent missles into Pakistan to attempt to rout insurgency forces that attack US troops in Afghanistan and retreat to the north west tribal areas of Pakistan, over which the Pakistani government has little control, but adamantly opposes any violation of its supposed border there. The Pakistani Intelligence Services have been double dealing with the Taliban andthe Pakistan and the U.S.'s military. In August of 2008 the U.S. discovered evidence of the duality and had meetings with the new leader of Pakistans' military in the wake of Musharif's departure. The newly elected prime minister of Pakistan is the widower of Benezir Bhutto who was assainated by al Quaida (allegedly). Zadiri is called
"Mr. Ten Percent" because in any dealings with him he gets 10% in cash to get you to the people you need to talk to to get something accomplished.

Regarding Afghanistan... a new draft report by American intelligence agencies intitled the National Intelligence Estimate, is set to be published on AFTER the November elections. Its conclusions represent a "harsh verdict on decision -making in the Bush administration." Check out the NY Time.com on October 9, 2008 under world news, the article's titile is "U.S. Study Is Said to Warn of Crisis in Afghanistan". Folks, Afghanistan is a corrupt quagmire and our involvement there is questionable on many levels.

We can not afford to be the world's police. They don't want us there.

We can't afford the human or the financial cost of a war machine that has still proven to be ineffective after TEN Years of searching for public enemy number one - Osama Bin Ladin.

If you want to stick your head in the sand then be my guest and vote for John McCain. I hope you suffocate...before he comes up for re-election.

Thank you for your time.
