Honestly?

Honesty is one of the treasured gifts of mankind. A man has only one truth to him, one absolute and that is his word. There is nothing else to define a man on. In today's society it has become commonplace to lie to get ahead. It's better in the long run to be less than truthful. Where have our morals gone? There are some things that should not be lied about even if it makes life a whole lot easier. I make it a point to never lie when someone asks me a question and they really want my opinion. If they did not want an answer then they should not have asked. I will answer. I will be honest. I never try to lie my way out of taking responsibility for something. If I have done something wrong or forgotten an assignment I will say so. People have to take responsibility for their actions. Its cowardice not to. I will not lie to get ahead in the great game of Life. It feels way to much like cheating. I do not like the feeling of never knowing who to trust. Are they lying to me? Why should we have to live like that? Insurance fraud, car deals, even sports game everyone thinks someone else is tricking them. I don't want to be suspicion all the time; it's tiring. People need to stop concentrating on the outcome and focus more on how they're getting there. What feelings of satisfaction can anyone truly have when it was all based on underhanded dealings.
