Fate

Life is full choices, of chances once taken that can change everything. It is in these moments when fate is decided, when the point of no return is clear. Some decisions are set in stone. Others are rectifiable. My question is there fate? Are all our decisions preordained? Can we live without a guiding hand? We make our own destinies. But sometimes events align that are too coincidental to be chance, too ludicrous to merely just happen. I do not want fate to be my only future. I do not want to be ruled without will or knowledge. God and his Fate are comforts to many people and I respect such devotion. But my destiny is in my own hands. My dreams are my own. I cannot live each day of each year believing that everything happens for a reason. If I did that I would go through life waiting for moments to happen to me. I believe that all of us, as people, need to go and fight for what we believe in. We can't just wait for someone with a map. This is our time. Our history is happening now. God is a great Supreme Being, but He gave us free will. Now we need to act upon it.

Hmmm....The good ole question of fate. I believe that fate is predestined points people go to. How we get there and with whom we go with is up to us. Basically, although specific, the path is a predefined enigma.

Good luck

This is very thought provoking. Fate is such a hard subject to discuss. I agree with many of your statements. God gave us free will, and we have the right to do what we want to do, but that some things may just happen regardless of decisions we make. Very interesting thoughts.
