women as presidents?, its not the time

so I have been thinking, women should be empowered at a time like this because we are making new gains in the generally male world of politics. woman are equal to men but I believe that our country is built on tradition and tradition is that a man is in office as president. I am extremely excited for palin and believe that once her and McCain get everything together that they would make for a great four years and hopefully help our nation out of this...what ever is going on. but I do feel like men should be the leader for our country, now that’s not saying that if someone is more qualified than the other that the man should still win, but I feel like its important on many levels to have a man as our leader.
our country is much more ahead of times, obviously, when it comes to gender equality. with the way our market is and the war in the middle east, we need every asset we have. times right now do not call for drastic change but for a constant rhythm so that our country feels stability and we can return our market to normal. also if we had a women president, then I feel like we would not get as much respect in other countries, which is crucial considering we are borrowing mass amounts of money, trying to solve everybody else’s problems, not to mention our own.

How is a man more uniquely qualified to deal with those issues than would be a woman?

And I would also point out that while we may consider ourselves to be "much more ahead of times" when it comes to gender equality, there have been at least 106 women that have served as head of state in some capacity in countries throughout the 20th century. Those countries include countries such as China, Sri Lanka, Georgia, India, Israel, Latvia, Iceland, and Ireland. Amazing that a country so "much more ahead of times" as the United States isn't "ready'" to be amongst them
